Unscoped Radio Aircheck: KMSC 102.1 Clear Lake City, TX August 17, 1968

This is most likely not Ellen, the DJ you hear on the aircheck below (I picked the photo because the studio equipment was period-correct for live operated FM radio stations of 1968…And she looked cool.)There’s a certain indescribable beauty to an unscoped radio aircheck.

Hold up, maybe I’m getting ahead of myself; What’s an unscoped radio aircheck?

An unscoped radio aircheck is a complete, unedited recording of an over the air radio or TV broadcast. For example, have you ever popped a blank cassette in your tape deck, hit record and just let the tape roll until it ends, capturing DJ talk, commercials, music, jingles, everything? Congratulations! You just made an unscoped aircheck! Without even knowing what you were doing was even profess… Read More

You can learn to dispose of old boats and watercraft, but you need to have some thought about this because you will start noticing that there are a lot of things that you can do to make those old boats and watercraft turn into cash. Get a Better Pricing to Your Home on Sale by Renting a Dumpster to Clear Your Trash That is Piled Up

The economy is plugging straight back from the long hit of the recession. Throughout the recession most of the large houses were left either without rental or without being sold there by ending up in adding the trash in the vacant home. The regained economy is probing the owners to either to rent these domiciles or resell these domiciles.

These homes will fill your account with some dough only when a better look is given to them by clearing the trash that is accumulated or go for renovation of the property if required. You can just assume the amount of trash that’s generated in the house and the extent it gets spoiled if it is left vacant for more than year. Wiping huge trash that is piled up since a year on self is hardly possible and you sometimes will be required to go for partial renovation to attract the consumer and pick a better price. You also end up in piling up green yard waste on trimming your lawn to give your property a better appearance. Hiring a dumpster … Read More

HAPPY NEW YEAR~

Well as we are nearing the end of 2012, I have been looking back on all of God’s blessings of the year! I must admit, there have been years that I cannot wait to be over with. Hoping for a better new year, and dreaming of what the future will hold. However this year, has been a year of dreams coming true for me, so I kinda hate to see it go! Back in March I found a little old house just a few blocks from my house that is a flower shop. I stopped in and asked if she rented space and told her what I do, and she agreed to rent me a “bedroom” size area for my little shop! While it was great to be there, it was not exactly what I had dreamed of, but it was a good start! I was there for 4 months, and in July, I noticed a building that had a “FOR LEASE” sign out in the front. I went to school with the owner of the building, so I called and asked how much the rent would be! I was in “STICKER SHOCK” and thought that I would never be able to do it. I was with a friend and we started thinking of … Read More

5 PATACAS COIN

2.7 cm diameter
Macau is about 40km south of Hong Kong, I think. It was a Portuguese colony from the 16th century until 1999. When I went there in 1997,  I found out that the first language was Cantonese, the second Portuguese. I found that out by not being able to talk to anyone. I would just point at food items and hand people patacas. I’m pretty sure I got a fare deal most of the time…. Read More
